Why does everything taste like chicken?
Not everything tastes like chicken... take eggs, for example. An egg doesn't taste like chicken, even though, being from the chicken itself, it seems to be the one thing that should taste like chicken! Anyway, regarding the original question, I'd say it's all the fault of the Colonel.

What do you like to get in the mail?
Food, mostly... baked goods. You want to get on my good side? Send me a box of home-made chocolate chip cookies and snickerdoodles... Postcards are really fun, as well. Have you ever seen that part in Slacker where they all walk into this guy's room, but its been recently emptied, and there's nothing left but these postcards with dark poetry on the back? I wish I could have some of those sent to me...
