On being a woman.

Yeah. I started crying for no reason in the mall yesterday on the way to visit my future parents-in-law. It made Cj really agitated, because we were looking for clothes that fit him and couldn't find any, so he thought that was the cause and that I was being unreasonable (which of course, I was). Then 2 hours later, hooray, it's that time of the month.

Damn hormones. And here I was thinking, "This Queer Eye Shopping for Straight Guys shit is a lot harder than it seems."

We did end up getting him these really neat dark brown and tan slip-on clog-type things that look very dashing and not at all Payless (which they are). Plus we found a $2 pair of pants at Walmart that were tan with this awesome snake image on the calf... and they matched the shoes. Eat your heart out, Carson!

In dental news, I made an emergency appointment with the dentist to get my cracked tooth fixed - turns out, however, that the only time I could get was 15 minutes before my allergist appointment. So I had to reschedule, and now I have to wait 3 more weeks to find out if I have a thyroid condition. Eesh! Who knew my body was so messed up, let alone my schedule. But they cancelled work because nobody wants to talk to telemarketers on Superbowl Sunday, so I don't have work tomorrow. Which is good.

Tomorrow I'll hopefully get some new bedside lamps, because ours fell apart and the stupid IKEA lamps were out of stock.

They [IKEA] still haven't emailed me back, either. Grr.
