I stayed up until 3 AM last night, for no particular reason. I just didn't want to go to bed. I don't know, maybe I'm getting a bit lonely being in the house all day with Grandma... all she does is watch TV, and I just get sucked in with her. Anyway, last night I watched The Wisdom of Crocodiles with Jude Law as the "vampire in London" who "is searching for the ideal woman to 'redempt' him." The whole point of the movie was to watch Jude Law walk around in big sweeping black coats (or nothing at all) spouting philosophy... but is there really anything wrong with that? ;) It was actually one of the most subtle vampire films I've ever seen, and (Allison will attest to this) I've seen quite a few. Not a lot of blood, even at the end, and no fangs at all, but it still had the sense that there was something regal yet twisted about the vampiric lead. Maybe I should write movie reviews, what do you think?
